Position: Business Development Manager, Sales Full time, exempt
Reports to: COO

Job Summary: The Business Development Manager will have overall responsibility for generating new opportunities while managing early stage sales opportunities for Innara Health’s innovative medical device; The NTrainer. This role can grow into an Account Executive role for the right candidate.
In addition, this role will also require the ability to interact with team members and contribute original concepts regarding marketing initiatives aimed at increasing demand and revenue for Innara Health.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary ownership of all business development efforts and managing early stage sales opportunities in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for Innara Health’s NTrainer system.
Identify and cultivate sales opportunities through tele-prospecting and direct marketing efforts.
Deliver formal presentations to physicians, nurses, therapists and administrators that detail the clinical and financial benefits of Innara Health products and technology.
Plan, coordinate, and implement pre-sale educational activities to drive clinical acceptance of Innara Health products and technology.
Gather and disseminate customer prospecting updates to sales, executive leadership, and others during the pre-sale process.
Partner with sales and service teams to deliver excellent customer service.
Consult with clients to promote the adoption of Innara Health products.
Represent Innara Health at various trade shows and educational meetings.
Travel for opportunity management as needed.
Gather field intelligence for marketing and business development - recognizing potential opportunities for the company, identifying unmet medical needs, and detecting shifts in clinical practices.
Develop relationships with key physicians, nurses, therapists and other industry leaders in order to promote market development and growth.
Other duties as assigned by the EVP Sales or COO.
Generating proposals, preparing sales quotations, planning customer meetings, and demonstrating equipment capabilities.
Intellectual capacity and curiosity of Innara Health products, neonatal care and the competitive healthcare landscape
Demonstrated business development success in a clinical or healthcare setting.
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience
Previous Healthcare sales experience, NICU experience strongly preferred
Proven relationship building skills in a hospital/healthcare environment
Demonstrated ability to work independently
Strong communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex issues into simple messages
Willingness to travel
Relocation to Kansas City headquarters NOT required
