Michael D. Peck is General Partner of Open Prairie Ventures' Kansas City office. As one of three partners, Mike is responsible for portfolio and deal management, as well as a focus on life science technology investments. During his tenure at Open Prairie Ventures, Mike has served on the boards of four portfolio companies, including Innara Health where he now serves as Chief Executive Officer.

Other notable positions Mike has held throughout his career include:

  • Vice President of Investments at KTEC Ventures, where he managed a portfolio of over 30 early stage technology companies and assisted with legislative matters
  • Vice President of Product Development at USBX and Vice President of Operations at C-
  • Tribe.com, both venture-backed technology start-ups
  • Manager at Accenture, where he advised Fortune 500 clients for the firm's strategic management consulting practice

Mike received his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kansas, an MBA from the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University, and a master's in Engineering Management from the McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern University
