Position:  Territory Sales Manager - Full time, exempt  Reports to: EVP of Client Services

Job Summary:  In this role, the Territory Sales Director will sell Innara Health products and services to, and maintain relationships with, existing U.S. hospital accounts.  The position requires strong leadership, coordination skills, and the ability to implement and direct resources to meet strategic company goals while exceeding customer expectations. The ideal candidate is a leader that is willing to help drive business and performance business execution and who has the temperament to adapt to a rapidly growing company.

Directly reporting to the EVP of Sales and Marketing, the position requires that you work with a clinical specialist team to effectively manage multiple accounts and prospects within a defined geography.  While travel is required, this is a not a “cold call” focused role.  The process will require on-site visits both pre and post close, but can also leverage a team of clinical specialists that support initial account interactions and education.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Plan, coordinate, and implement pre-sale educational and evaluation activities to drive clinical acceptance of Innara Health products.

  • Gather and disseminate customer acceptance updates to sales, executive leadership, and others during the pre-sale process.

  • Deliver formal presentations to physicians, nurses, therapists and administrators that detail the clinical and financial benefits of Innara Health products.

  • Provide, alongside clinical specialists, installation and in-service education and training to new and existing clients.

  • Partner with sales and service teams to deliver excellent customer service.

  • Consult with clients to promote the adoption of Innara Health products.

  • Represent Innara Health at various trade shows and educational meetings.

  • Identify and evaluate new product and feature enhancements.

  • Develop educational and training materials and assume responsibility as an expert internal resource.

  • Gather field intelligence for marketing and business development.  

  • Recognizing potential opportunities for the company, identifying unmet medical needs, and detecting shifts in clinical practices.

  • Develop relationships with key physicians, nurses, therapists and other industry leaders in order to promote market development and growth.

  • Other duties as assigned by the EVP Sales or CEO.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years sales experience in a clinical setting, preferably within the NICU.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • Demonstrated effective communication and presentation skills in both one-on-one and large group settings.

  • Ability to work independently from home with little supervision.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Microsoft Office skills to develop effective reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.

  • Ability to utilize the company sales tools including Salesforce and HubSpot.

  • Ability to establish solid working relationships with diverse groups of individuals

  • Ability and willingness to travel. 

  • Preferred:

o   Understanding of clinical workflow, reimbursement, and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
